| As I look at these pictures I cannot begin to explain the joy I receive to see in these children's hands a blanket I sent them, or see them wearing a used coat, mittens or warm clothing that I packed with care into a box. I cannot tell you how it feels to know that something so simple, that my own children and grandchild take for granted, can bring such a look of happiness to a young child's face. Nothing would bring me greater JOY than to have you feel it to. "These kids are like kids anywhere, they laugh and they play. They are just living in, and surviving terrible conditions. They are hard and see violence all around them, it is part of their daily lives." |
